Back from Wellington...
Just back from Wellington, where I attended Conspiracy II and had a great time. Thanks to all involved! Also enjoyed catching up with some local comics friends, including a most excellent party at Ari's place and an evening of laughing ourselves hoarse at several episodes of the mind-boggling Drawn Together. Another highlight (one of many) was meeting novelist and cartographer Russell Kirkpatrick again. His wonderful talk on maps, geographic paradigms and fantasy worlds was utterly brilliant.
In short: a wonderful weekend. Thanks to the Conspiracy II organisers, to Tim, Jo, Robyn, Richard, Ari, David R, David B, Matt, Kate, Bruce, Sarah, Isobelle, and everyone else I met.
